Quick draw has been clarified to allow ANY combat specialty (relating to a weapon) to be chosen for it, including Brawl and Athletics ones.

Retainer has been slightly clarified as to how merit prerequisites work, on the house rules wiki: Use the Retainer rating as an attribute/skill rating as appropriate to their field.

Wolf-Blooded Tells now work a little bit differently for Justification; treat the number of instances of the Tell merit as your power rating for the purposes of Justifying high numbers of them.

Note that the wiki's officially been updated. Status is no longer directly tied to positions. For now, we're leaving 3+ as not needing XP, as you'll still need to justify everything from an IC perspective (Narrative Justification), but it won't always be tied to a specific position. You do need to buy Status 2 with XP before you can submit to get 3, of course.

Alrighty, with the new year comes a few tweaks to some House Rules stuff. @everyone should read this!!!

1) Because of some difficulties handling mundane equipment, I'm doing what I've always tried to avoid doing and am making a custom equipment page, found here: https://wantonwicked.gamingsandbox.com/ ... eEquipment
Because of this, custom mundane equipment rules are tweaked a bit. It's now limited to one per month (like powers, but a separate limit), however, there's also rules for making minor modifications to stuff that's submitted there without my approval and without going against that limit. You are also free to use anything on that page that anyone else has made, there's no 'public' or 'private' quality to mundane stuff.
You do not need to submit all of your existing custom equipment to the queue to be added on. Forgive the bold, but wanted to be sure that's seen, as I'd like to avoid 500 requests. That said, whenever you want to make another of a previously approved custom item, it needs to go into my queue again for consideration for that page. I'm going to be eyeing things a bit harder now, and hopefully things will be cleaner with a page of references available.

2) I've also added a page for animal forms. No change to their rules, I'm just going to start adding them to that page when approved, for ease of use: https://wantonwicked.gamingsandbox.com/ ... nimalForms

3) After some discussion with Storymasters, we're tweaking ephemeral retainers a bit. They now are Rank 1 at dots 1-3, and Rank 2 at dots 4-5. Anything Rank 3+ will be the purview of custom merits or powers or whathaveyou, or for special things like Totems.
If you already have an ephemeral retainer, please submit a sheet update to make them fit the new rules. You may spend an XP to make a 3-dot Retainer 4-dots to keep its Rank, without it counting against XP spend limits.
