age 64 year old High roller of Mesquite, Nevada, opened fire from two windows at a corner of 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort
Firing interrupting a three-day country music festival that that attracted more than 22,000 fans to the famous Las Vegas Strip.
The shooting lasted nine to 11 minutes, with the first reports of gunshots beginning Sunday at 10:08 p.m. PT and the final shots being fired at 10:19 p.m.

John Cohen, a former Department of Homeland Security undersecretary who previously worked as a police officer, said that recordings of the shooting suggest that the shooter used an automatic weapon.
"[The bullets] were coming out very quick, and you heard a large number of shots very quickly. That would be very difficult to do with anything other than an automatic weapon," Cohen said.

Reports described shooter had No direct assessments of mental illness nor credible affiliation with foreign or domestic political religious or terrorist organizations
No reports found any of the equipment used, had was acquired illegally, though modified.

The SHARE Act passed the Natural Resources committee on a party-line vote on Sept. 13, and would have likely advance with similar partisan results in a full vote in Republican-controlled House. Democrats had expected to block the bill in the Senate.

A different provision in the Duncan bill makes it more difficult for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to classify certain ammunition as “armor piercing.” Regulations on interstate transportation weapons would be revised as well.

Please stop post Political things to the site. Political discussions tend to lead to nothing but arguments and ppl getting angry over silly things.
