Actual Portland Visit! Places to See?

Post by TheGrimalkin » Wed Aug 16, 2017 6:43 pm

Yo WanWic! I'm actually going to visit Portland as part of a business trip for like 5 days and am wondering what sort of places in the main metropolitan area could be interesting to visit in real life? I'm especially wondering about some of the locales that Either are directly used in the Wanton Wicked game and those which are inspired by places in the game. Any suggestions are welcome, though most visiting will have to be done in the later day since I'm mostly occupied 8 to 4:30 or so.

Strip clubs? *Bats eyes* And fancy hotels. And parks. Those seem to be the busiest rooms.

I'm mostly looking for the inspiration behind the Embassy as well as various bars and restaurants which I believe have some real life equivalents. I think the Revolucion is an actual coffee house which i shall be visiting

My character's usually end up in places I've googled in Portland.

Keller Fountain Park (it looks amazing on the pictures), Planet Fitness Gym, Social Punch Bowl (this one I'd to visit in real life), The Devil's Point, etc.

It would be cool if you checked out the Tik Tok as well! Also Voodoo Donuts sounds like it would be deliciously awesome.

Unlike how it's portrayed here, Voodoo does not have places to sit. The two stores are small and always, ALWAYS, have lines going down and around the block at all times of day until they close. They also operate as a cash only business. So, bear that in mind.

Either way, Portland is a cool town. You should get around and explore as much of it as you can, even if you miss some of the chat landmarks.
