Re: House Rules Announcements
Elixirist's stacking rules have been tweaked slightly; you can be under the effect of more than one, but the same kind or those affecting the same traits/abilities won't stack

The staff has decided that long term spells cast by Mages that are desanctioned are going to fade, with the assumption being that for some reason or another it will end up dropped or dispelled after the casting character has died or left, rather than being allowed to linger indefinitely.
Out of character, this is along the same lines as shared Merits being lost when a character desanctions, and will work similarly. When a Mage desanctions, those benefitting from their active spells have one month to find another mage to "take responsibility" for it, that has the needed Arcana, at which point a request can be submitted confirming that. As well, by submitting a request in this time and temporarily losing a willpower dot (it's simply unusable for the time period) this can be extended up to another month, due to the difficulty of finding people capable of the same exact spell at times.
Those already under the effects of long term spells from desanctioned characters have a month from now, instead.
Characters that spent Willpower dots to fuel indefinite spells for other characters that then desanctioned will of course get the willpower back if no replacement is found, simply submit a request asking that it (or a sanctity XP) be added back to your sheet.
On a similar note, characters Ensorcelled by desanctioned Changelings will work the same way.

Guide to the Night is being added to the Book Policy, but none of the alternative settings/systems are in use (No Lingua Bellum, sorry!).

Just so folks are aware that don't use the Discord, the wiki has been updated with 6.0's house rules, converted Z-splats, book policy, and other rules-based things. If there's any confusion or input, feel free to submit a request to my queue!

Note that status has been tweaked to make it so to earn status above 2, you must have status at 2 first. You'll no longer be able to get refunds for being granted a position, either.
WW6 Rules Master
Added rules for the "minion" Lair Trait to Beast's rules; effectively they're very limited Retainers at a rating of Lair/2 (rounded up).
WW6 Rules Master
Added that mundane "Motley" merits are shareable by other groups.

Bloodlines and Lodges can now be joined at creation if they're already published or converted. Custom ones still need to be made in-character.

So, after talking things over with the Storymasters, we're officially going to be treating the Skin Thief merit like a Micro Template, meaning that if you're a Skin Thief, you can't also be a Thaumaturge or Psychic Vampire or similar.
If you currently have the Skin Thief merit, put in a request asking for Sanctity for your base rating of it (3 dots).
While I don't believe anyone has Skin Thief that has a Merit Template already, if you do and I missed it, put in a request similarly and we'll sanctity either it or your other Template and work with you to get the character as close as possible to what you'd envisioned.

Hedge Farming has been tweaked to be more accessible: https://wantonwicked.gamingsandbox.com/ ... Guide#toc1

Just to note, I've updated the custom page after talking with the Storymasters. Heralds can explicitly design Supernatural Merits, lacking any real powers of their own, and can even make them unique to the Herald template, just as a way to give them a minor boost in relation to other half templates.

We've explicitly added to the PRP guidelines that you don't need approval for running any creature the Retainer merit could normally cover, mechanically. So long as you run it with those mechanics.

So, after seeing a lot of people clamoring for it, given the book's implication that they're meant to be customizable, the Storymasters and I discussed it and we're going to allow customized Kinship Merits.
This is *not* an excuse to make general merits and attach a kinship as a prerequisite, they need to be closely related to the being in question, and the nature of that Tie. These will be fairly heavily scrutinized.

I've still gotten some confusion here and there about the Stunned Tilt, so I've very explicitly listed on the Wiki that it works off the rules for "Targeted Attacks," not the "Causing the Tilt" entry in most of the books (other than the CofD core). You *need* to target the head, if applying it via damage.
EDIT: Also added clarifications for a couple of Hurt Locker maneuvers that go off the pre-errata'd Core ruleset.

*Merits representing the same sort of supernatural location stack with each other, and can be "shared" that way. For instance, Dedicated Locus stacks with Nest Guardian and Magical Nexus, so long as the latter two are taken to reflect that Locus. Everyone gets the full benefits of their own merit at the combined rating.
